1920
After World War I go independent and ''out''! They get rid of the old corset and they start going out, drinking, smoking etc. The fabrics go clear, the coats are heavy, the shirts are sleeveless and the neckline is low.The first sweater is now at the shops and the pleats skirts also. The trend is about bows, beads, and flowers. The snuff boxes, and long pipes, jewelery with pearls, hats (klos) short haircuts ''a la garçonne'' are the points of the season.
1930
The sparkle of Hollywood is an end in itself. The fashion in the late 30 shines! Platinum hair, red nails, essential accessories gloves, sunglasses, the trench coats and sideways dresses. Shorts with ankle socks and inflatable sleeve shirt, are the hot styles of the season. Squares jackets highlight the waist and bring the silhouette in the foreground. Also their first appearance are making the platform shoes and bags that look like ''envelopes''.
1940
