Shilpa wore a traditional red lehenga, created by the celebrity designer Tarun Tahiliani.

Raj wore a gold sherwani with a pagdi (turban) in gold and red, and a traditional sword.

The wedding ceremonies were conducted in Bunt style with the bride's sister Shamita, freshly evicted from the Bigg Boss set in nearby Lonavala, playing a stellar part in the proceedings.

The cuisine was Mangalorean as well; lots of yummy gassi was served, we hear.

The couple left for their new home in Mumbai on Sunday night.

Jayam Ravi to enter wedding bliss

Actor Jayam Ravi will get married to Aarthi his long-time girlfriend on June 7th. Aarthi is the daughter of Vijaykumar who produced Veerappu and several television programmes. Aarthi has completed B.C.A and is pursuing M.I.M. in Scotland. The marriage takes place at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Kalyana Mandabam in presence of his parents, brother, relatives, friends and almost all the VIPs of Kollywood.

Jayam Ravi, who was introduced by his brother Raja in Jayam, became a household name overnight. In a short time period, he completed eight more films. Now, he is acting in his tenth film Peraanmai, which will be completed before his marriage. After his marriage he will act in director Ameer’s Kannabiran.
